Expert1: Hey John! I hear you received your Masters in Economy at Yale University.
Expert2: Hi Luis! I also heard you graduated from Harvard University.
Expert1: I guess we are the perfect economists in this country hired for this project.
Expert2: I hope we can help this country out of poverty .
Expert1: So what is your view on inflation?
Expert2: Definitely , this country has inflation.
Expert1: Just by looking at the prices of each product, I can say there’s inflation . All prices in this country are increasing especially the price of petroleum
Expert2: I agree with you. It is unbearable to see the poor people in this country without purchasing power.
Expert1: That is the downside of inflation. Now, these people are forced to beg, work in the agricultural area, or worst of all, they may be tempted to steal.
Expert2: I know. And what’s annoying me is how big companies take advantage of the situation by hoarding rice which is the main staple of this country
Expert1: The reason why they get away with it is because they are also protected by corrupt government officials .
Expert2: However, it becomes positive because the labor market will stabilize the wages.
Expert1: In addition , banks will be able to borrow from the Central Bank.
Expert2: But this will also suggest for the people to save and spend less and less.
Expert1: With this, it will decrease the interest rate for the market.
Expert2: We really should mention all of these discussions we are having.
Expert1: Yes, and by doing that, people can make choices on their own, using advice from us.
Expert2: Congratulations to us and may this country be successful .
